Since returning to Ireland, I have had an idea for a business that would help establish and grow brands for small businesses.
In London, I worked for one of the world's most valuable brands as part of an integrated marketing department. On my return to Ireland, I could see that the economy was beginning to pick up. There was more confidence around and money was being spent on branding, marketing, communications once again.
This is exactly what I was asked to do for iNua, an investment company in its formative years. Over the following months however, I began to see the mismatch between the 'specialist' assistance on offer, what a small business actually requires and the budget they can realistically provide to make it happen.

With my 'big brand' experience from London and my 'startup brand' experience from iNua, I feel that I can offer other small businesses brand insights and a more competitively priced, outsourced marketing solution to help them really stand out. I can do so by being realistic & strategic and by utilising creative tools & digital technologies. I can help small businesses seek out the fresh ideas and approaches needed to keep pace with change and stay ahead of competitors.
I now have the opportunity to begin as an independent contractor and by resisting the desire to defer, I am taking it. There is always a fear of missing out on all the other options of employment. But this for me personally, could foreseeably result in endless job swapping and professional discontent. So I am moving forward on this new journey with conviction. The timing is right.

I have spent the last two months preparing the formation of this company and coming to an understanding of exactly what I can offer my clients. I will spend the next few months working with a select number of clients so that I can offer my services professionally, with full attention and with a promise of results.
